The liminal object of a book, which is made to try to transport your mind to a different setting.

This photograph shows what is for me (and anyone else with glasses) the transition between sight and a vague outline of seeing.

The interlude between school and the rest of my day. This doorway represents the ordered and scheduled section of my day, contrasted with the possibilities and freedom of the rest of it.

The liminal object of a fence and two goals. The fence is the object seperating the street I was on and the field. The goals are liminal because they serve to pause the soccer game once someone has scored.

The corner is the liminal space between the left and right wall. I took a picture of this because the space seperates not only the walls, but also what the two things on either wall represented to me. On the left wall there's an air conditioner, which to me represented technology and the modern version of comfort, while on the right wall a pipe runs down the wall to deliver heat. They're both temperature manufacturers, but the pipe is a much older invention. It's rustic image contrasts well with the polished surface of the AC.

This photograph is the liminal space of a playground that I went to when I was younger as well. Seeing the children playing where I once played brings my mind into a liminal state of mind because I'm between my past and their present.

This photograph shows the liminal moment of my day right after I've gotten home, when I walk into the door and put on my slippers. It's the transitional stage of leaving school and entering home.

There are three seperate ways to get onto the platform; therefore the platform is liminal

The change from being indoors to being outdoors, the flap of a tent.

The last photograph is of the bin I have in my room where I keep all of my unfinished art projects. It's the liminal transition between being an idea or a first try, and being a polished completed something.
