Today was an algebraic workshop! (That means good.) I liked shaping the newspaper skeletal structure, especially because it was such repetitive work. Tear the paper, fold the paper, tape the paper. Repeat. The one thing I miss about doing math homework was the busyness of the hands while the brain can drift off to other places, all while monitoring what's being done.
It was great to discuss Dexter with some fellow Dexter fans as well. The extent of my conversations involving this show while at home go from "Isn't this that show about that guy who kills stuff?" to "Oh my gosh shut that off! It's gruesome!" Any fans of the show would know he's only the most loveable guy on television.
I'm really enjoying our time with Margaret, she's so much fun and I think she's getting us very motivated to do this project. I know I'm having a ton of fun with it, and have already had an elongated discussion to some family about the seven deadly sins and their meanings. They're all intriguing to think about. These are the "moral codes" we're given growing up, and are our fixed beliefs.
Anyways, looking forward to Friday workshop! I've got my blog in, so I'll see us all there!
