Workshop the First

Todays workshop was interesting and neat-o. I wonder, vaguely, whether anyone will comment on my use of the word "neat-o," but we're all moving on now. Margaret DeLima was nicer than I expected. Her portfolio was so impressive, I imagined a self-aware, self-satisfied sort of person. I was pleased to see that she had Humilitas, meaning humility (meaning the opposite of Superbia, meaning pride.)

I was so excited when Margaret (DeLima?) (Ms. DeLima?) (Margaret DeLima?) (Workshop Leader?) Addressing people in blogs is frustrating, what's the etiquette? told us we'd be doing a project based off the Seven Deadly Sins. Ever since Metropolis when we saw the dancing statues and Lizy blogged about an art project she was doing based on them, I really wanted to do my own little project on them. Of course at the time, I had no idea what that could be, besides
a drawing of the picture, basically.
(<---- standard sins symbols. alliterated. wuddup?)

After seeing Margaret DeLima's artwork, I'm planning on altering around each sin to correspond to an exaggerated physical feature. For example, Pride=having a big head. Because they think they're bigger and better then they are. Get it? Kinda? Here's a picture:
